Creative Coliseum: Youth Theatre Terms and Conditions
1. Class Structure and Enrollment

Youth Theatre Class (Mondays): Classes are held on Mondays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM during term time. This class is for students aged 5 to 8 (Years 1, 2, and 3).

Youth Theatre Class (Tuesdays): Classes are held on Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM during term time. This class is for students aged 8 to 11 (Years 4, 5, and 6).
2. Payments and Refunds

Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via direct bank transfer only. Cash is not accepted.

Payment Due Dates: Termly fees are due within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

Late Payments and Arrears: Failure to pay on time may result in the place being offered to a participant on the waiting list. Creative Coliseum can also pause classes until the fee is paid. If an account falls into significant arrears more than twice in one year, membership may be terminated immediately.

Fee Reviews: Fees are reviewed annually, and Creative Coliseum reserves the right to alter them. You will be notified of any fee increases at least a term in advance.

Refunds: No refunds will be given for classes a participant misses. Refunds for other reasons are at the discretion of Creative Coliseum and are handled on a case-by-case basis. A 10% administration fee will apply to any refund that is processed.

Cancellation by Creative Coliseum: Creative Coliseum reserves the right to cancel classes if there is insufficient enrollment. In this event, you will receive a refund of any remaining fees.

Performance Charges: An additional, non-refundable charge per child applies for main theatre productions to cover hire costs. There is no sibling discount for this charge.
3. Class Attendance and Participation

Attendance: Participants are expected to attend weekly classes. Any absence must be reported beforehand.

Term Dates: Term dates will be available on the Creative Coliseum website by the end of the previous term.

Notice of Termination: To terminate a place, you must provide a minimum of half a term's (usually six weeks) written notice via email. If proper notice is not given, you will be charged for a half-term's fees.

Dress Code: Participants should dress according to the requirements outlined in the welcome pack.

Rehearsals: Participants in planned performances must attend all technical and dress rehearsals. Failure to attend may prevent them from performing.
4. Trial/Taster Sessions

Booking and Availability: Trial/taster sessions are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.

Cost: Each Youth Theatre trial/taster session costs £15.00. Payment must be made within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

Securing a Place: Attending a trial session does not guarantee a permanent place. To continue, you must meet the payment terms on the invoice.

Applicability: All terms and conditions in this document apply to anyone attending a trial session.
5. General Policies

Contract and Acceptance: Your contract with Creative Coliseum begins upon receiving written confirmation of a place. By accepting the place, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined here.

Changes to Terms: Any changes to these terms require written consent from Creative Coliseum.

Liability: The liability of Creative Coliseum and its staff is limited to class time and applies only in cases of gross negligence.

Personal Belongings: Participants are responsible for their own belongings. Creative Coliseum is not liable for lost or damaged goods.

Health, Safety, and Conduct:

Registration: You must complete a registration form with emergency contact details and any medical conditions before a participant joins the classes.

Health Conditions: Participants join at their own risk and must inform Creative Coliseum staff of any existing injuries or medical conditions.

Infectious Diseases: Creative Coliseum reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant showing signs of an infectious disease.

First Aid: You consent to Creative Coliseum staff taking first-aid or emergency measures for participants' care and protection.

Conduct: Participants must obey the rules of Creative Coliseum. The organization reserves the right to exclude participants from classes at its discretion.

Cancellations: If classes are cancelled due to extreme weather, epidemics, or other circumstances beyond Creative Coliseum's control, no refunds or compensation will be provided.

Communication and Logistics:

Arrival and Collection: Parents/guardians/participants must arrive in good time for class and be collected promptly at the end.

Collection Authorisation: If someone else will be collecting a participant, you must advise the class leaders in advance.

Walking Home Alone: If a participant has permission to walk home alone, you must inform Creative Coliseum beforehand.

Changes: Creative Coliseum reserves the right to make changes to the timetable and teaching staff as needed.

Personal Information: You are required to keep Creative Coliseum updated on any changes to personal and contact details, especially medical conditions.

Photography and Media Consent:

Policy: Please inform us at luke@creativecoliseum.com if you do NOT give consent to the photographing or videoing of your child.

Usage: All images and videos are strictly for marketing purposes and will only appear on Creative Coliseum’s social media accounts, website, and marketing materials.

Creative Coliseum: LAMDA Terms and Conditions
1. Class Structure and Enrollment

LAMDA Class (Wednesdays): Classes are held on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM during term time for students in Years 4, 5, and 6. The first term focuses on core skills, with the second and third terms dedicated to exam preparation.

Exam Format: The decision for a student to take a solo or duo exam will be made at the end of the first term.
2. Exams and Commitment

Commitment: Students will take one exam per academic year. If a student is placed in a duo, they must commit to their partner for the duration of the exam preparation, as withdrawing can negatively impact their partner's progress.

LAMDA Examination Fees: These are separate from tuition fees. They typically range from £40 to £60, depending on the grade, and you will be notified of the exact amount and exam dates beforehand.

5. Unacceptable Conduct

Discontinuation of Lessons: The LAMDA teacher can discontinue lessons if a student shows a consistent pattern of unreasonable conduct, a poor attitude, or a lack of progress.

Refunds for Conduct Issues: If lessons are stopped due to a student's conduct, any remaining fees will not be refunded.
